Owning two BellyFire locations has allowed me to connect with the community, foster creativity, provide specialized jobs for artists in the ceramics field, and build financial freedom.

Our Story
BellyFire was founded by artist and entrepreneur, David Rollins in response to a shared desire by many to return to more creative outlets like the arts. BellyFire was originally an app designed to connect members of the community with specialised artists like potters and musicians who offered lessons, art, and event bookings. Today, BellyFire exists exclusively as a pottery studio. And we think a pretty cool one. Surrounded by technology and media consumption, BellyFire's mission still is to offer a creative safe haven for folks looking to reconnect with themselves and community.
BellyFire offers paint-your-own pottery, group classes, technique series, kids programming, and private parties and events. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, organising a group event, or enjoying a spontaneous outing, BellyFire is the perfect space to do it. At BellyFire, art is for everyone—seasoned artists and first-timers alike can rely on friendly team members for guidance and encouragement.
Creation Over Consumption
Today, there is no shortage of "recreation". From social media to streaming, our brains are fed a slow-drip dopamine diet. We have settled for a cheapened recreation. As humans, we long for something deeper; something real. Pottery is that! It helps you to process emotions, embrace ambiguity, and self-discover. It is truly rewarding and fulfilling!
Community
Like anything good, it all comes down to the people. The people at BellyFire make us special. Whether you are a fledgling potter dipping your toes in, or a ceramics wizard, you will be met with patience, kindness, and all the tools and support needed to succeed AND have fun.
Fun
Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and creative environment for people of all skill levels to experience the timeless art of pottery. We're here to help you get inspired and create.
