4-Week Workshop Series
Our workshop series run four consecutive weeks each month, starting on the first Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays of the month. Series cost is $220. All materials included glaze are provided. Typical gratuity is 15 - 20%.
For those looking to deepen their pottery practice, we offer technique series and workshops focusing on specific skills and disciplines. There's always something new to learn and explore. Glazing: Returning to glaze is always included in the pricing for technique and workshop series. For drop-in classes, we charge a $5 materials fee on return to glaze, clearcoat, and refire.
Monday 6:00pm - 7:45: Intermediate - Advanced Wheel Technique
Take your wheel throwing skills to the next level with our Intermediate to Advanced Wheel Throwing Class at BellyFire Pottery Studio. Thursday 6:00pm - 7:45pm: Functional Series
Discover the beauty of functional pottery in our 4-Week Functional Pottery Series at BellyFire Pottery Studio. Over the course of four weeks, you'll master the art of creating essential ceramic pieces, including mugs, bowls, plates, and centerpieces (vases). Led by our experienced instructors, you'll learn fundamental techniques for shaping, glazing, and decorating each item, ensuring both beauty and functionality in your creations. Whether you're looking to enhance your kitchenware collection or explore the world of functional ceramics, this series offers a hands-on experience that's both rewarding and practical. Wednesday:
6:00pm - 7:45pm: Sets Series (Tea sets, sake sets, whiskey sets)
Create your very own set, choosing from either a teapot, a sake set, or a whiskey set in this comprehensive series that will have you miles ahead from where you started. Sets are a terrific tool to learn many of the fundamentals of wheel throwing and altering. Throughout the 4 weeks, you will progress through the design phase, cups, large vessels, and trimming. Meeting Schedule: First four Wednesdays of each month Time: 6:00pm - 7:45pm Cost: $220 (Due at checkout on the final class - glazing included) Note: Pieces will be ready for pickup in 10 days, then held for an additional 20 days after completion.
